> Graphic Designer

Nikkei (Canada) Marketing Ltd. is a marketing and distribution company dedicated to introducing superior and innovative health and food products. Located in Richmond, BC, we are seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our team. The Graphic Designer is responsible for providing scheduled support to marketing teams and reports to the Marketing Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Produce graphic design for various initiatives including media print and promotional marketing materials for both English and Chinese-speaking audience
  • Produce web designs, which includes interface design, web-ready graphics, etc for various brands
  • Produce design for all product packaging
  • Edit existing work files
  • Convert various types of files for print
  • Provide sample layouts with direction from teams

Required Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Strong knowledge of print design

Education/Experience:

  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or in a related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • At least 1 year of graphic design experience

Required Languages:

  • English
  • Cantonese and/or Mandarin (proficient in spoken and written)
  • Vietnamese, Japanese or French is an asset

> Independent Broker

Nikkei Canada Marketing Ltd. is a Canadian company that specializes in the sales, marketing, and distribution of premium natural health products to the speciality health & wellness retail trade channel. Currently, the majority of our efforts are focused on our red reishi mushroom essence supplements - Mikei Red Reishi (mikei.ca); however, we are growing our brand portfolio in the very near future. We are seeking an Independent Broker to perform the following duties listed below:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to sales team to achieve monthly sales targets for the division
  • Open new retailer accounts within designated region
  • New store set up (i.e. paper documentation for accounts and admin, displays, demos,etc)
  • Service existing retailer accounts within designated region
  • Facilitate sales orders for retailer accounts and relay orders to the office
  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities
  • Inform and execute marketing campaigns with retailer accounts
  • Gather industry intelligence for marketing department
  • Educate retail staff on POD and how to overcome all obstacles (consumer/retailer)
  • Maintain daily store record logs
  • Provide manpower and support for all sales related events (i.e. tradeshows, seminars, demos, trainings, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Prior success establishing, managing, building B2B sales skills; opening new accounts and building business with existing accounts
  • Proven sales success working independently in a territory B2B in both independent and small - regional chain retailers
  • Possess professional sales core competencies; sales cycle, process and mentality
  • Strong PC and Internet skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Have own vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Flexibility in work schedule
  • Travel 25% of the time
