MIKEI® Christmas Tree @ Richmond City Hall

Nikkei (Canada) Marketing and MIKEI® is proud to sponsor a Christmas tree at the 9th Winter Wonderland at Richmond City Hall.

This year’s event is organized by the Richmond Sunset Rotary Club in their efforts to aid the global community. The Richmond Sunset Rotary Club has chosen to support Refilwe, a South African community located on 18 hectares of land just north of Johannesburg. This community is home to some of the most severely disadvantaged people on earth. People live in small, scattered and rundown settlements – Tuberculosis, Malaria, AIDS and HIV, unemployment, limited education, lack of skills and poor housing are just some of the challenges that the local residents face. A great number of them do not have access to clean water, electricity or basic social services.

The MIKEI® Christmas tree, along with other trees sponsored from local businesses and community organizations will be available for viewing from November 21st to December 31st at the Richmond City Hall.
